St. Mary's Parish Church Meare

St. Mary's Parish Church Meare

Meare is a marshland village in typical Somerset "Rhineland" country, standing on the site of pre-historic lake dwellings. The site of the lake-village is marked by groups of mounds and reached along Meare Way.

Meare is able to trace the history of its religious leaders over a very long period.
